Cinder cone

The term 'Cinder cone' as it applies to the area of volcanos can be defined as '   A steep-sided volcano formed by the explosive eruption of cinders that form around a vent.    A small conical-shaped volcano formed by the accumulation of ejected cinders and other volcanic debris that falls back to Earth close to the vent area'.
